About Me

Born in New York City to a Peruvian-Chinese mother and Puerto-Rican father. Her diverse background exposed her to the arts at an early age. She studied Vocal at the Professional Performing Arts High School. She emerged herself in extracurricular activities during the weekend and after-school. This included a Creative Writing class at Columbia University, a Graphics class at The Cooper Union School of Art, a Physical Education class at The Borough of Manhattan Community College and an internship as an Assistant Manager on the Designer floor of Bloomingdale’s, senior year of H.S.

She holds a Bachelor of the Arts from University at Buffalo with a Major in Spanish and Certificate in Marketing and Public Relations. She studied abroad at the University of Cuba.

She founded Pawfect Day Incorporated in 2008. An insane year to open a business; during a downturn in the economy. But grew it into a 6 figure company, with a staff of 17. Her copywriting and organic marketing skills helped it stand out. The business was awarded the Top 20 Pet Sitting businesses in NY (out of 2000). It was featured in Latina Magazine, HERLIFE magazine, World Bride Magazine, Working Woman Report on WPIX and CNBC. The business sold profitably in 2023.

Every pet deserves a chance to live a happy life outside of a cage

Our scheduling software includes visit completion tracking, to ensure your pet is safe while in our care

It is with this dream that Pawfect Day materialized. We are a small business and believe every pet owner can make a difference. A portion of all proceeds are donated to various not-for-profit rescue organizations. Every pet sit brings a pet closer to finding a good home and fulfilling this dream.
